The Lakeview Farmers’ Market operates July through September on Saturdays from 9am-noon located at 215 S. Lincoln Ave in downtown Lakeview. If you’d like to become a vendor the booth fee is $5/week and payable each Saturday morning using the dropbox at the entry of the Village Municipal Complex. Either Cash or check made out to Village of Lakeview are accepted. Please note, you do NOT have to fill out an application for this event. We simply ask you follow the guidelines we have set for our market. Items permitted for sale include: produce, baked goods, handmade items, artwork, plants, etc. Please note: the Farmers’ market is not intended for garage sale type items. New this year: Kid Row. Booths for youth vendors at no charge. Youth vendors must be supervised by a parent or guardian. There is also no charge for non-profit and community groups wanting to set up an informational booth. Set up on market days will be begin at 8:30am. Please do not drive onto the lot as there is ample street parking. Bring your own tables/chair/awning. Complimentary table and pop up tent are available on a first come first serve basis inside the shed at the Municipal Complex. These donated items must be returned each week in the same condition as you found them. Power is available (limited availability) and must be approved by the Village Office in advance. Lakeview Summerfest is held on the third weekend of June each year and includes a carnival with kids’ rides and games, a tractor show, a grand parade, town-wide yard sales, an ice cream social, corn hole tournament and much more fun for everyone.
