Lakeview Community Center

As a General Law Village, the Village of Lakeview remains a part of, and maintains a close administrative relationship with, Cato Township.
The Cato Township offices are located in the Community Center at 309 S. Lincoln Avenue in downtown Lakeview.
Usually, Cato Township Board meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 6:00pm. Holidays or other occasions may change the date or time.

Township Regular Office Hours: Mondays from 10am to 4pm and by appointment

2025 MARCH BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING SCHEDULE
The Cato Township Board of Review for 2025 will be held at Cato Community Center, 309 S Lincoln Ave, Lakeview MI on the following dates:
Organizational Meeting: Tuesday, March 4th, 11:00am
Appeal Hearings:
Monday, March 10th, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Tuesday, March 11th, 3:00pm to 9:00pm

The Board of Review will meet as many more days as deemed necessary to hear questions, protests and to equalize the 2025 assessments. By Township Resolution, residents are able to protest by letter, provided protest letter is received prior to March 10, 2025 at: Cato Township PO Box 109 Lakeview, MI 48850
