PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission for Cato Township, Montcalm County, Michigan will hold public hearings at its regular meeting on November 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cato Township Community Center, 309 S Lincoln Ave, Lakeview, MI 48850. The purpose of the public hearings is to (1) consider a Special Use permit request for a commercial flower shop on property located at 8735 N Greenville Rd, Lakeview MI 48850 (Parcel 004-021-009-10) and (2) consider amendments to the Township Zoning Ordinance regarding regulations for short-term rentals on property in the Township.
A copy of the Special Use permit application and proposed ordinance amendments may be obtained at the Township Community Center during regular business hours, and the Township may charge a reasonable fee for copies. The Township will receive written comments concerning the Special Use permit request and proposed ordinance amendments at the Township Community Center, 309 S. Lincoln Ave Lakeview, MI 48850. Written comments must be received prior to the start of the public hearings.
